I am a certified teacher who holds a Professional Teaching Certificate with the Florida State Board of Education. I have taught school at a high school level for 7 years. Courses that I have taught are: AICE Biology. Standard Biology, Honors Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, and Anatomy and Physiology Honors. Relevant classes that I have taken include: College Chemistry I and II, Ecology, Medical Terminology, Zoology, Microbiology, Human Physiology, Physics I and II, Organic Chemistry I and II, Botany, Cell Biology, Statistics, Biochemistry, Marine Biotechnology, Genetics, Biostatistics, Molecular Biology, Comparative Animal Physiology, Bioterrorism, Marine Field Ecology, Developmental Biology, Professional Writing, Analytic Geometry and Calculus, Micro Oceanography, and Immunolgy. During my years of teaching, i have led my students to be able to successfully navigate and pass the Florida Biology End of Course Exam. In addition to my teaching certification, I am also certified in NG-CARPD (content area reading) and excel in teaching students how to read and understand science text.
